For the last thirty years Dave Pressely has developed a unique style of handcrafted custom jewelry and designer hardware. Starting as a machinist Dave learned to work with all sorts of metals. He continued working with metals and became an apprentice tool and die maker. This gave Dave the skill needed to design molds and build prototypes. Eventually, Dave became a full journeyman in machine and tool and die. The fine details needed to develop locks; claps and interlocking chains were developed during this time. These skills carried over to his custom jewelry and designer hardware, where Dave fused his interest in Gothic Art with his industrial metallurgy.

From his studio located in New York City, Tribeca, Dave works with Fashion Designers from all around the world. He design, develops, and makes molds for prototypes as well as final pieces of Designers Hardware. Many of Dave’s locks, claps, chains, and custom hardware accents can be seen in today’s fashion for bags, shoes, boxes and other items.
